| In the 1990's the figure re-entered my work. Initially I was unsure how to depict the human form stylistically, so I tried several different approaches throughout the decade. I drew constantly and created hundreds of drawings of the figure, attending many different life drawing workshops throughout NYC. My interest was not in academic interpretations of the human form but how I could use the figure as an element within the work. Here is a good sampling of some of these works.
